1. Who We Are
TixSnap operates tixsnap.com — a platform for live sports scores, match information, and ticket price comparison for football, esports, concerts, and sports events. If you have questions about your privacy, contact us at support@tixsnap.com.
2. What Data We Collect
2.1 Account Data
When you create an account, we collect your first name, last name, email address, and password (stored encrypted). If you register with Google Sign-In, we receive your name and email from Google.

2.2 Favourites and Match Tracking
When you follow a team or mark a match as followed, we store that information linked to your account. Your currency and theme preferences are stored locally in your browser only.

2.3 Ticket Referral Data
When you click "Buy Tickets", we place an attribution cookie on your device before redirecting you to the partner's website. This enables our referral commission. We do not process your payment or see your purchase details.

2.4 Technical and Usage Data
We automatically collect IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and links clicked. This data is used in aggregated, anonymised form to improve the platform.

3. What We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect payment card or banking information.
- We do not collect your phone number unless you voluntarily provide it.
- We do not build advertising profiles or sell your data.
- We do not use third-party marketing trackers or advertising cookies.
- We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
4. How We Use Your Data
- To create and manage your account and saved preferences.
- To store your followed teams and matches across sessions.
- To enable the ticket referral process with our partners.
- To maintain, improve, and secure the platform.
- To respond to your support enquiries.
5. Third-Party Services
Ticket Partners
We share referral data with ticket resale partners (e.g. Viagogo, StubHub, Ticketmaster) via attribution cookie only. Partners are independent controllers — review their privacy policies before purchasing.
Infrastructure
We use Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), and Google (optional Sign-In). All sub-processors are GDPR-compliant.
Sports Data APIs
Live scores, lineups, and match data are fetched from SportMonks and GRID APIs. No personal data is shared with these providers.

7. Your Rights (GDPR)
You may request access, correction, deletion, or export of your personal data. Contact us at support@tixsnap.com. You can also delete your account from the My Account page. We respond within 30 days.
8. Data Retention
Account data is retained while your account is active. Upon deletion, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days. Technical logs are retained for up to 90 days.
9. Security
Passwords are hashed. All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS. Row-Level Security (RLS) is enforced on all database tables. We use GDPR-compliant infrastructure from Supabase and Vercel.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our platform evolves. Significant changes will be notified by email or by a notice on the site. Continued use of TixSnap after changes constitutes acceptance.
